Its sole is steel, which also wraps the perimeter, a big reason this ½ steel, ½ aluminium Ketsch nearly doubles the MOI of the PING Vault 2.0 Ketsch. Like all the Heppler mallets, it effectively utilises multi-material construction, and is the only putter in the family with three alignment lines, which frame the ball.
This multi-material mallet putter has been machined with a solid steel face for a firmer sound and feel. The body is machined with lightweight cast aluminium and heavy steel, to provide high forgiveness and optimum CG for accuracy and consistency. It is finished with a black and copper finish and a sightline for visual aid.
The PING Putter Features:
Solid Steel Face (Firm and Forgiving)
Adjustable-Length Shaft (32″ to 36″)
1-Year Guarantee & PP59 Putter Grip
This model is 370gram in weight and is suited to a slight or straight arc putting stroke. The putter comes fitted with a midsize PP59 putting grip and an exclusive black chrome shaft which can be adjusted in length between 32″ and 36″.
In the G425 fairways and hybrids, two shared PING innovations known as Facewrap™ and Spinsistency™ combine to deliver more distance and spin predictability for carrying trouble and hitting greens. A tungsten sole weight increases the MOI in the stainless steel heads for added forgiveness. MAX available in 3W, 5W, 7W, 9W.
The LST model is designed with a pear-shaped, 445cc head to greatly reduce spin, a benefit for faster-swing-speed players. A proprietary T9S+ forged face accelerates face flexing for more distance. The head employs a 17-gram CG shifter with Draw, Neutral, Fade settings to fit your swing and desired ball flight. Available in 9° and 10.5°.
G425 MAX elevates the moment of inertia to PING’s highest level in history. Forgiveness comes mainly from a 26-gram tungsten movable weight, made possible by weight savings from advancements in the driver’s dragonfly crown technology. The CG-shifting weight can be set in neutral, draw or fade. A T9S+ forged face increases flexing for adding distance. Available in 9°, 10.5° and 12°.

Microhinge Face Insert
This technology produces more topspin for a more consistent ball roll. This is possible thanks to an elastomer face insert, combined with a stainless steel Microhinge insert with individual hinges that flex on impact. This technology lifts the ball to produce more topspin for a better roll regardless of your putting stroke.
